The e-invoicing reform in France
The e-invoicing reform is being phased in according to a national timetable.
September 2026
Micro-businesses, SMEs and certain non-profit associations must be able to receive electronic invoices in UBL, Factur-X or CII format. PDF invoices will no longer be accepted.
Large companies and mid-sized companies (ETI) must also be able to receive electronic invoices.
September 2027
Micro-businesses and SMEs must issue their invoices in electronic format.
